Please share a memory of Annette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Annette Simon-Godbold was born August 18, 1959, to Sandral Figeroa and Wardell Simon in Syracuse, NY, where she graduated from Fowler High School. Annette's adolescent years included attending church with Uncle John and Aunt Margie weekly with her siblings, where she developed her love and relationship with Jesus. Upon graduating, Annette worked as an Accountant for Price Water House. A short time later Annette and Richard Sr. married and eventually moved to Rochester, NY with her aunt, Elizabeth (Auntie). Annette loved cooking, traveling, singing and spending time with her family; especially her two grandchildren, Markus and Richess Godbold. The love for cooking that her and her son Richard both shared, allowed her to express that in the meals and dinners they prepared for her family, friends and community to enjoy from their restaurant "MoBetta". On January 9th, 2023, Annette went home to be with the Lord. She is predeceased by her parents Sandral Figeroa and Wardell Simon, her husband, Richard Godbold Sr., her son Richard Godbold Jr., siblings, Anthony Simon, and Karen Hernandez. To cherish her memories are her grandchildren, Markus and Richess Godbold, her siblings, Alesia Jones, Robin Simon, and Jim Simon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss her deeply.
