In loving memory of mother Bertha Mae King.
Mother King was born March 14th 1938 in Sumter South Carolina. Daughter of the late Ronnie and Edna White, she was the 3rd oldest out of 9 daughters. Mother King resided in Sumter South Carolina until she met and married the late Raymond King. Once mother King was married they moved to Buffalo New York where they had two children daughter Carol Fisher (Doran) and son the late Lavaughs Raymond King (Mike) Mother King held a host of jobs until she found Kaufmans bakery where she worked for 32 years until she retired. Mother King found salvation and joined One in Christ ministries which she was a pillar mother in the church. During her life she managed to raise and adopt five kids who she loved and raised as her own. In her departure from life and arrival to life everlasting Bertha mae leaves precious imprints on the hearts of her family.. children : Carol (Elzie) Fisher, John, Larry, Luke, Tony and Unique King.
Grandkids, Lynette Doran, Evette Douglas Lavaughs King(Mikey) Erica Doran and Ladonna King and Dionna Morris, Great grandchildren ;Alexandria, Aaliyah, Destiney, Emmanuel, Trinitey , Xavier, Daesha, Parnell and Ramell, Jade and Jordan. God Daughters; Demetra and Aletha, Sisters ; Lucille (james) Lacy Betsy Mikens, Brenda Brye and Maggie Green and a host of neices and nephews Bertha was proceeded in death by her husband Raymond King, son Lavaughs King, sisters Louise, Alice and Rosa. Betha Mae was a loving kind person who loved everyone. Bertha was straight forward and would say exactly what was on her mind. she would feed you no matter who you were. She would give the shirt off her back to you. She had a laugh that came from the soul and would touch everyone near. She loved her Western movies, she loved to cook she loved to listen to the gospel music channel on Monday nights. Lastly Bertha King Loved to dress and coordinate .This Mother/ Grandmother will truly be missed but will forever be in our hearts.
