Obituary of Ann Anderson

Ann "Lateene" Anderson was born on December 25, 1953 in Andrews, South Carolina. She was the oldest and "finest" living grandchild to the late Davis and Minnie Parson. She was preceded by her parents Norman and Thelma Anderson.

Ann attended Benjamin Franklin High School. She attended cosmetology school where she received her license. Ann worked at Eastman Kodak for many years and she also worked for Associate Taxi as a cab driver. Ann graduated from Monroe Community College and received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Social Science. Ann also worked and retired from Xerox Corporation.

Ann was wise person and she was not afraid to share her wisdom. Ann always spoke her mind and told you just how she felt about you whether it touched a nerve or not. Although she told you "Just How It Was", she was a loving and caring person. To know her was to love her.

Ann loved to shop. She was a diva and a fashionista! She loved to floss in her Ruby Woo MAC Red lipstick and her fur coat. Ann only wore expensive name brand clothing and shoes. She loved going to the casino and she loved to travel.

Ann loved her two daughters Sonya and LaJada and her favorite sister Sylvia unconditionally. She loved and bragged about all of her grandchildren. Ann always said that her granddaughter Vanai had a special place in her heart.

Ann was proceeded by her mother and father Norman and Thelma Anderson, two brothers Jerome and Cleveland Anderson, and two sisters Blondell Andrews and Renee Anderson.

She leaves to mourn her two daughters Sonya Anderson and LaJada Lundy, one sister Sylvia Lee, five grandchildren Isis Hayes, James Garrett Jr., Vanai Johnson, Vizan Johnson, Vizani Johnson, two great-grandchildren John'Jai Hudgeon and Treasure Dalton-Garrett, three nieces Passion Anderson, Christina Lee, Crystal Lee, two brother-in-laws Anthony Andrews and Elijah Lee. Aunts Annie Oliver, Sadie Green, Lillie (Wesley) Brown, Lottie Parsons and Ruth Parsons all of Rochester, New York. Uncles Sam J. Parsons, Rev. Ernest Salters all of Rochester, New York, James Salters of Andrews, South Carolina, Leanue Davis of Fayetteville, North Carolina, three special friends Alvin Hamilton, Loretta Holloman of Rochester, New York and Rosiland Cooper of Andrews, South Carolina
